As part of maintaining professional standards with our clients and candidates, the following guidelines apply when we represent you to a client organisation.
Candidates are welcome to work with multiple recruitment agencies. However, it remains the candidate's responsibility to manage and keep record of where their CV has been submitted.
Recruiters should always discuss a specific opportunity with you and obtain your consent before submitting your CV to a client.
Once Professional Career Services / Career 2000 has discussed a position with you and you have given permission for your CV to be submitted to a specific client company, we become the introducing recruiter for that opportunity.
Our introduction of your CV to a client organisation remains valid for a period of 12 months from the date of submission. This applies regardless of whether:
If at any time within the 12-month period, you are approached by any representative of the client organisation — including but not limited to HR personnel, hiring managers, sales managers, leadership or executive teams, internal recruiters, or any employee representing the company — you agree to advise them that your CV was originally introduced through Professional Career Services / Career 2000 and that your profile remains on file through our introduction.
Where appropriate, communication should be directed via the recruiting consultant managing your application.
Submitting the same CV to a client through multiple recruiters can damage both the candidate's professional credibility and the recruiter-client relationship.
Candidates agree to inform recruiters if they have already been approached or submitted to the same company for the same or related role.
